Rwik an five year old boy was killed by
a neighbour Bela Bose a psychiatric patient in December 2005 for
being jealous. She thought the boys fathers prosperity in business was
due to the boy and killing the boy may bring them a fortune. When the
child body found in their safety tank, an angry mob burnt alive Bela
and ransacked their house. Bela's husband Rabin Bose (60) and Son
Kaushik Bose (35), they were not invoved in the murdering act, but
they hide the incident from neighbours, while they were searching for
Rwik. They were found guilty of suppressing information on the murder
and sentenced Rigorous Imprisonment. Though police probed Rwik's
murder, not much was done regarding the burning of Bela apart
from initiating a case against some people for murdering her. However
police have not file charge sheets in that case. |
