For many years Traffic Police
authorities alerted people on move not to use mobile phone while
driving cars. But people never learn a lesson easily. Again this
mobile phone usage while driving caused an fatal accident. This time
three school children were injured, when their pool car hit a bus,
parked by the road at Golaghata over the VIP bridge. Even the driver
Gautam Mondal, who was hurt as well. The Driver was talking over his
mobile and the pool car hit with full speed to a luxury bus parked.
The windscreen of the car was smashed and the driver fell unconscious
in blood. All students were started screaming for help. People on road
broke open doors to rescue kids and the drivers, then they rushed four
of them to Uma Medical Centre for treatment. Two kids were discharged
after first aid. The driver and one kid name Sanjana Sengupta class 4
student have been admitted to hospital. Sanjana sustained serious
injuries on her right leg, she was sitting beside the driver. Locals
collected phone numbers from the kids and informed their parents. The
guardians and few teachers rushed to the medical centre. Baguihati
police station initiated a case against the driver and seized the car. |
