Maoist the believer of Mao? but who ever they are now creating lots of disturbance in recent years. In western border district of Bengal this is a new face of terror. Local villagers call them 'bon party' . They come out from the dense forest of Jharkhand and attack CPM party workers in Purulia, Bankura and Midnapore. Some times they attack police personnel depute those areas, blew police car and etc. Very recently CPI Maoist had poster on the walls of writers building, caused an alert to the city police. They fear the terror is coming to Kolkata. But CPI Maoist is not a banned political party in the state like Andhra Pradesh, So it is a difficult task to nabbing them. Kolkata Police is gearing up to set up a special task force to counter unseen terror. They are recruiting young, energetic officers with good academic background. Also they are restructuring special branch (SB) to counter Maoist activities in the city.
